SÄKAPHEN® CATALYTIC TWO-COMPONENT COATINGS OFFER EXCELLENT PROTECTION AGAINST AGGRESSIVE ACIDIC AND ALKALINE CHEMICALS AT UP TO 100°C IN WET CONDITIONS AND AT EVEN HIGHER TEMPERATURES IN DRY CONDITIONS. SÄKAPHEN® CATALYTIC COATINGS CAN BE APPLIED IN THE WORKSHOP OR ON SITE.

SÄKAPHEN® catalytic coatings are two-component and cold-curing. SÄKAPHEN® coatings provide excellent protection against aggressive acidic and alkaline chemicals, both in the immersion and in the gas phase. All catalytic coatings are suitable for on-site coating application and work shop based coating application.

SÄKAPHEN® HR 60 Extra TG and SÄKAFLAKE 900 are extremely diffusion resistant (ΔT 85 ° C).

SÄKAPHEN® SÄKAFLAKE 900 and 200 SÄKALINE offer excellent impact and abrasion resistance through their glass flake or ceramic filling.

HR 60 Extra G Red/Green and Extra TG

HR 60 Extra, is used throughout the world in the coating workshops ofSAEKAPHEN licensees and at construction sites. In order to ensure bestpossible anti-corrosion protection for each application the mostsuitable coating material of the HR 60 extra range can be selected fordifferent kinds of stress, especially the effects of water vapordiffusion.

Types of application Interior coating to protect steel, stainless steel, aluminum, cast iron, concrete and some plastic surfaces that come into contact with aggressive chemicals.

PLURAL COMPONENT, VINYL ESTER EPOXY NOVOLAC BASED, ABRASION-RESISTANT AND WATER VAPOUR-RESISTANT, GLASS FLAKE-FILLED COATING FOR STRONGLY ACIDIC TO STRONGLY ALKALINE MEDIA. WHITE, MATT.

 

SÄKAPHEN® SÄKAFLAKE 900 White 3K is a vinyl ester epoxy novolac based abbrasion resitant, glass flake filled coating, resistant to water vapour diffusion (ΔT 85°C). The coating is chemically resistant against aggressivesubstances such as acidsbases, solvents, salt solvents, fluegas and all types of water, including brackish, river and sea water as well as deionized water. White, matt. The coating can be applied on site.

  • Excellent flow (60m hose, Ø 3/8“, Airless 70:1 with 5,0 bar pressure)
  • Excellent sagging resistance and leveling capabilities (up to 1.400 microns WFT in one pass)

SAEKALINE 200

TWO-COMPONENT, EPOXY BASED, ABRASION-RESISTANT, COATING FOR ACIDIC TO STRONGLY ALKALINE MEDIA WITH CERAMIC FILLING.

SÄKAPHEN® SÄKALINE 200 is a high-quality, hydrophobic, two-component, abrasion resistant,epoxy based coating,  fRestant to various substances ranging from slightly sour to alkaline including all  types of water, including brackish, river and sea water as well as deionized water with ceramic fillingThe coating can be applied on-site.

Fields of application:

Ceramic filled epoxy coating for the coating of boilers and other hot water tanks, industrial water and for sewage gas containers in the paper and pulp industry.

In general, coatings in  industrial water storage are only suitable for water temperature of 40°C unless the equipment was not protected against long-term corrosion with SÄKAPHEN® Si 57 EG prior to installation. In already installed hot water tanks, SÄKALINE 200 can be applied on-site or in the factory as alternative to heat-cured coatings.

SÄKAPHEN® HR 60 Extra TG is a high quality, two-component epoxy based duroplastic coating, resistant to water vapor diffusion (ΔT 85 °C). The coating is chemically resistant to all types of water, including brackish, river and sea water up to 100°C in permanent immersion, various substances ranging from sour to strongly alkaline, inorganic salts and their solutions, acidic aqueous solutions. The surface is hard elastic. The coating can be applied on site.

For the coating of water chambers, blowers, fans, and compressor housings, tanks without insulation, condensate reservoirs, desalination and water treatment plants and pipelines, for equipment where a coating resistant to water vapour diffusion is needed

SÄKAPHEN® SÄKATONIT® Extra AR is a superior, hydrophobic, mechanically durable two-component, epoxy based coating. The coating is chemically resistant to all types of water, including brackish, river and sea water as well as deionized water, various substances ranging from sour to strongly alkalineinorganic salts and their solutions, fuels, acidic aqueous solution and concentrated hydrochloric acid (36%). The surface is hard elastic, abrasion and impact resistant with hydrophobic properties and prevents caking, fouling and incrustation. The coating can be applied on-site. Weather resistant.

Fields of application:

For the coating of tube sheets, pipe work and prover loops, spill boxes, water boxes, blower-, fan- and compressor housings, tanks, vessels, inside of filters, valves and agitators. Certain surface imperfections can be covered up by thickness of applied material.

HR 60 Extra G Green has been exposed to the athmospheric conditions present near Abqaiq in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for 18 months:

  • ØTemperature from 10°C to 44°C with peaks of 55°C
  • 55% average humidity
  • Sandstorms
  • Salty air

Hardness and impact strength of HR 60 Extra G Green were not affected by the exposure. Apart from the superficial matting no further deterioration within the coating can be determined.

PHENOLIC EPOXY BASED, HYDROPHOBIC COATING FOR STRONGLY ALKALINE TO LIGHT ACID MEDIA. OFFERS EXCELLENT ABRASION RESISTANCE. DARK GREY, SATIN FINISH.

SÄKAPHEN® Si 570 AR is a high-quality, hydrophobic, phenolic epoxy based heat-cured duroplastic coating. The coating is chemically resistant to liquids, fumes and mist (also in droplets) of strong alkaline to weak acidic media, all types of cooling waters including brackish, river and sea water as well as deionized water, salt solutions, greases, oils, solvents, gases. SÄKAPHEN® Si 570 AR offers excellent abrasion resistance especially for rotating equipment. The surface has hydrophobic properties and prevents caking, fouling and incrustation.

Fields of application:

In particular for the coating of impellers and parts that are exposed to aggressive and abrasive alkaline substances at high temperature.
